Project NICU is proud and honored to participate in Prematurity Awareness Month along with so many around the world this November. It’s a month that is dedicated to raising awareness about the community of premature babies, their parents, medical teams and NICU supporters. It’s a month of raising awareness about prevention, potential indicators, legislation and research. It’s about showcasing that even the earliest and smallest of babies can survive and thrive.
Project NICU will be focusing on HOPE for the entire month of November. Hope after an unexpected early delivery, Hope after endless days in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Hope after discharge, Hope after loss, Hope after postpartum depression, Hope after a second pregnancy, Hope for community, connection, support and beyond.
We want every single person that walks the halls of a NICU, to feel hope.
So as a part of #PrematurityAwarenessMonth, we will be sharing YOUR journey all month long. Telling stories of real heroes day in and day out, who make this community so incredible.
This November we invite you to join our “30 Days of Hope” Campaign to inspire and raise awareness for families of premature babies who have experienced a stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, in celebration of #PREMATURITYAWARENESSMONTH.
We want to fill our social feeds each day of November with stories of hope for all involved in the NICU journey.
Hope for healing, hope for connection, hope for self-discovery and hope for community. We are thankful to our partners at WaterWipes for supporting this effort in sharing the incredible stories we are surrounded by daily.
We invite you to share any part of your journey, write a paragraph or an entire blog, completely up to you. Attach a photo that we can include as well. We are honored to be able to share your story and are grateful you are in our community!
