As a part of #NICUNursesWeek and #NICUAwareness Month, Project NICU is proud to be supporting an amazing initiative by our partners at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital (Cleveland).

They are participating in a nationwide NICU Read-A-Thon in memory of Ann Reitenbach, a NICU Nurse Manager at Rainbow who passed away in April.

Ann was a wonderful supporter of Project NICU and a huge promoter of Family Centered Care in the NICU.  Project NICU has donated 25 books to kick off the read-a-thon and supplied some added fun for this week to encourage reading to the babies in the NICU and we have an opportunity for YOU to help their program!

Below is a link for a special Usborne Book Drive. You have the ability to purchase books for yourself and or send books directly to Rainbows NICU. All commissions from this drive will go to a credit for UH to continue to add to their NICU Library. The Read-A-Thon and this book drive will be open from today September 14th- September 24th!
