30 Days of Brave- Day 28- Jordyn

I gave birth at 26 weeks to a beautiful baby girl weighing 1lb 15oz. I’ve done this journey alone because of Covid.

My fiancé hasn’t been able to meet our daughter or be there for my birth because he works 3 hours away. Even though he got tested for Covid, he was still denied to come in and meet her because unfortunately my mom got the other band as she was the one who took me in but she’s more than willing to give her band up so he can meet her but the hospital won’t allow it.

It’s been a real trying time for me but I know my baby is a fighter!

We are day 48 in the NICU and still have a lot more to go. She’s getting stronger each day and has wonderful nurses that has taught me so much about the NICU.
