#30DaysofHope Day 1- Haley

My parents were a huge blessing to my husband and I during our NICU journey.

My husband had to go back to work before the twins were released and my parents stayed with us so I could go visit the twins everyday.

This picture was taken shortly before I was released, and I wasn't coping well with the idea of not being with them every day and feeling like I had to leave them behind.

Bless our nurse that day whom let me hold my twins together for the first time and even got my mom in on the fun (and it also happened to be their first day of wearing big kid clothes!!)

I'll forever love this picture and am grateful for everything they and our family and friends did for us during that time.

When I look at this picture, I not only see hope of a new mom knowing things WILL be ok, and the hope of two tiny fighters who never gave up. I will also think of hope and love of wonderful family and friends who still support us to this day.
