#30DaysofHope Day 17 - Leslie

This past March, at 29+4 weeks pregnant, I gave birth to my beautiful twin boys, Vincent and Elliott. After a scare at 25 weeks, we were grateful to be able to keep them in as long as we did but we were scared about what could happen to our just over 3 lbs babies.

A week after they were born, covid regulations started being put into place. This soon resulted in my husband not being able to come visit our boys after they were only two weeks old. This made everything that they went through even harder. A brain bleed, NEC, bubble CPAPs, PICC line, ultrasounds, xrays, and anemia but our boys made it through it all.

After 65 days our boys were able to come home, together .

Today, these happy, funny, sweet, playful baby boys are 8 months old. They impress us everyday with how smart they are and how strong they are. We are so very blessed to have two very healthy baby boys.

After the boys left the hospital I transferred and I am currently a NICU nurse where my boys were taken care of and I get give back what was given to us....hope.
